Lakeland Montessori School

Location

Located on M-36, in Lakeland, Michigan, we are conveniently located from Pinckney, Hamburg, Brighton, Whitmore Lake and the Southern Howell area. See map.

Grounds

In the warmer weather of summer, the children enjoy the large fenced playground featuring several unique structures for climbing and exploring. In winter, there is usually lots of snow for creating snowmen, sledding and saucering.

Activities

An area has been set aside for vegetable and flower gardening. We also have on the grounds a small collection of farm animals in their own enclosures so the children can view and visit with chickens, rabbits, goats and occasionally a visiting lamb and pony. (not for riding)

Schedule

Our school calendar closely follows the dates established for the Pinckney Public School District. The dates for the 2008/2009 school year are September 3 through June 4.

Programs & Hours

We offer a choice of three programs: a 5-day Kindergarten or Pre School, a 3-day, or a 2-day program (mornings or afternoons).

5-Day Program	Mon. - Fri. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mon. - Fri. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
3-Day Program	Mon./Wed./Fri. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mon./Wed./Fri. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
2-Day Program	Tues./Thurs. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tues./Thurs. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
